Here at CheshirePaint we are inspired and driven by the mantra to 'think bigger'.
This week marks the first addition of artwork to 'Conor's Collection' and it is a truly extra large canvas. Named 'After Dark' it stands at 2.5m by 1.5m and almost doesn't fit the showroom wall it has dwarfed.
This is not new territory size-wise for CheshirePaints or Conor as an artist, and transporting the new art to the showroom has me reflecting on the large commissions we have made happen over the years.
3.5 x 2m is to date the largest single piece commission created and installed by CheshirePaint. Being able to say yes to the requests of clients is always the goal and so far so good. By ensuring the canvas frames are handmade in house as well as stretching the canvas to the bespoke frame allows us to take on any vision at any size.
Anybody who has been viewing our content for a while will remember the creation of 'Read Between The Lines' which involved hiring a cherry picker and creating a monstrous 300 x 190 cm piece of artwork which hangs proudly in the new studio. We are yet to find anybody with a wall and appetite for art large enough to make it theirs.
